Prof. Saša Bubanj is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Niš (FSPE), Serbia, where he has taught Biomechanics across all levels of study since 2005. A former professional handball player in Serbia, Israel, and France, Prof. Bubanj remains active in the sport community and currently serves as a member of the Assembly of H.C. Železničar Niš. He has coordinated and participated in numerous international projects (Tempus, Erasmus+, GIZ, ZUOV) and has held key roles in national academic bodies, including serving as President and member of the Review Commission of the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NEAQA). Prof. Bubanj is a Full Member of both the Serbian Academy of Education and the Serbian Academy of Innovation Sciences. He serves on several editorial boards and reviews for major publishers such as MDPI and Elsevier. He represents FSPE in the European Network of Sport Education (ENSE) and is a member of the Association for Preventive Pediatrics of Serbia. Prof. Bubanj has authored more than 150 scientific and professional publications. He speaks English, French, and Spanish fluently.
