Biography
Svetoslav Stefanov (born in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, 20.02.1972) He is a lecturer since 1996 at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education, Faculty of Education, “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. His didactic attributions include courses like “Volleyball”, “Methodics of volleyball”, “Winter sport”, “Water sports”. He is an Erasmus+ departmental coordinator. His educational background includes an Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sport, (St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria 2012), master in Physical Education and Sport, (St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria 1996). Since 2013 he held the academic position associate professor. His work experience is His experience is related to working with children with special educational needs. Work with children aged 9-10 who play mini-volleyball. In the last ten years he has benefited of many Erasmus teaching grants in Romania, Belgium, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Albania, Poland and Finland. He is a participant in five Erasmus intensive programs in the field for recreation in seaside resorts in Bulgaria and urban sports. During his academic work he has published more than 50 scientific publications, one monograph, one book and three university textbooks. In the recent past he was a football referee in the first league. Today hi is a coach of students’ teams at volleyball at “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo .
